This is down as a medium ride of 45 kms. Although described as ‘medium‘, don’t let this deter you if you can ride comfortably at a steady pace for a couple of hours. No one left behind!
The ride takes you through leafy, quiet streets.
It’ll be a quiet Sunday morning. Cats could be sunning themselves.
Making use of parked cars.
I wouldn’t say the ride was hilly, more undulating as you get closer to the beach.
That’s about the worst of it, and that one is downhill with a reward at the end!
We go past Maroubra.
We meet at Bar Italia, 8:15 for an 8:30 start, and should be back early PM (12:30 – 1), even with a swim and a coffee stop at La Perouse.
Bring sun screen, water, helmet. Swimmers. If anyone would like Malabar Ocean Pool as a stop let me know.
